More About the Author

Ever since she was a kid, Therese has had a curiosity about the past. She was fascinated by the old cars and abandoned houses on her grandparents' property, and at the age of ten, after finding a buffalo nickel and rusted Fanta cap in the floorboards of an old truck, decided she wanted to be an archaeologist. She did go on to earn a degree in Anthropology with a minor in History, but ended up teaching middle school, where she dug up the past using documents instead of a trowel. At one point in her life, her family referred to her as 'The Well of Scholarly Knowledge' because she would tell them everything she learned that day over the dinner table.
